11 Years

Today is the 11th anniversary of the terror attacks on the Twin Towers in New York City, The Pentagon in Washington DC and Flight 93’s heroic fight to save many others.

It was a very clear and mild Tuesday morning. We watched the images of the first tower burning on it’s top floors. We watched LIVE when the 2nd plane hit the second tower. We witnessed breaking news of smoke billowing from the Pentagon. We looked up in to the sky to see great white circles etched into the clear blue, drawn by the other aircraft after being ordered to turn back and land.

We remember the smoldering field in Somerset County, PA. We felt scared. We felt angry. We united as a nation to stand up against an enemy filled with hate for any lifestyle that they did not accept. Our freedom WAS under attack.

We went to war.

Al Qaeda.

Bin Laden.

Biological weapons.

Suddenly, our anger and vengeance was turned on Saddam Hussein. Iraq became our target. Why? Was it oil? DID they have weapons of mass destruction? We had intelligence that they did. Did Saddam get them out of Iraq before we could get to them? If so, where did he put them? Where were our allies? The questions began and our doubts stirred in our minds. Some of us spoke about our concerns. Some of us stayed reserved.

Patriot Act.

Airport Security.

Level Orange.

Threat Elevated.

An election season comes again. Bush is re-elected to “finish the job”.

Congress’ approval rating.

No compromise.

The war continues.

The Surge.

Hope and Change.

Election Fraud?

Troop build-up.

Leave Iraq, more attention on Afghanistan.

Patriot Act.

Executive Orders.

Socialized programs.

Taxes, taxes, taxes.

Rise of the Tea Party.

Debt. 10 Trillion.

Debt, 11 Trillion.

Debt, 12 Trillion.

Debt, 13 Trillion

Debt, 14 Trillion

Debt, 15 Trillion

War in Egypt, Libya, Syria.

Muslim Brotherhood.

Al Qaeda-backed factions assisted by the USA and allies.

Election, FINALLY!

Ron Paul.

Mitt Romney.

Barack Obama.

County, State Republican Conventions.

Votes denied, ballots lost.

RNC Chair resignation after resignation.

Republican National Convention.

Democrat National Convention.

Scripted Votes! Fraud!

And here we are…11 years later.

Our freedoms have been eroded since that day in 2001. The war continues…and for what? To defend our freedom? What freedom? Which candidate is defending our freedom? Ron Paul was, but he was silenced. Gary Johnson is, but he is being silenced.

Have we lost the war?

It’s time to think. It’s time to act. We must not continue to drive each other apart and further divide this nation. We must reunite. Don’t go left. Don’t go right. Come together in the center. Compromise. There will be ONE person on the ballot in all 50 states who defends the constitution, who will unite us once again. His name is Gary Johnson.

Please don’t take this as a campaign post. This is for reflecting on the events of the past 11 years. You know we are losing this country. This is the last time we can save America. This is our last stand.
